One of the biggest games in the English football, Manchester United vs Liverpool is set to be played at the Old Trafford later today.
The Merseysiders thrashed the Red Devils 3-1 when they faced each other for the reverse fixture at Anfield in December, a game which also marked the end of Jose Mourinho’s tenure at the club.
The Red Devils appointed Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as their caretaker manager after the game and the Norwegian has injected a new lease of life at the club since his arrival. They are currently unbeaten in the league since losing to Liverpool and won eight & draw one game during that period.
On the other hand, Liverpool are consistent with their performances since their success at the Old Trafford and are currently second in the Premier League table. They are level on points with leaders Manchester City but have played a game less than the Cityzens.
