Borussia Dortmund forward Mario Gotze has hinted at a possible reunion with former boss Jurgen Klopp at Liverpool, adding that the Premier League title race is “extremely exciting”.

Gotze was reportedly close to making the reunion happen back in 2016 when he was looking for a way out of Bayern Munich.
The Germany international, however, decided to return to former club Borussia Dortmund after having had talks with Klopp.
Gotze’s contract with the Bundesliga giants will expire in the summer of 2020 but the forward has hinted at an interest in the Premier League with his most recent comments.
The heart of the matter
Gotze has revealed that he is in constant contact with Klopp, adding that he is always looking for new challenges.
Speaking to Bild, the Dortmund star said,
Gotze was also asked to pick between his former bosses - Klopp and Pep Guardiola - to which he replied,
Both managers are battling it out for the Premier League title as Liverpool and Manchester City are neck-and-neck in the intense chase.
