Liverpool want to sign Ousmane Dembele on loan

According to the Daily Mirror, Liverpool are interested in signing Ousmane Dembele from Barcelona on loan.

Ousmane Dembele has had a tough start to life at Barcelona and hasn’t really been able to perform at the same level that made the Catalan giants break the bank to sign him last summer.

To add fuel to the fire, when asked about Ousmane Dembele in a press conference, Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp said,

Klopp and Ousmane Dembele have both been at Borussia Dortmund in the past but the pair hasn’t worked together. Now that Klopp has revealed his interest in the player, the Kop wants him to sign the player up on a potential loan deal as it is difficult to see Barcelona parting ways with the player after just one season.

Khedira could move to Anfield as part of the Emre Can deal

Liverpool are vying to sign Sami Khedira from Juventus in the summer as a replacement for Emre Can.

Emre Can has for long been linked with a move to the Old Lady and is expected to make the switch this summer. Meanwhile, reports suggest that Liverpool are interested in signing Juve’s centre-midfield sergeant Sami Khedira.

The report also reveals that the German is interested in a move to the Premier League. Khedira had, in an interview with Bild, expressed his interest in a move to England.

He was quoted as saying,

Massimiliano Allegri is not one to keep his players in the team if they’re not up for it as has been evidenced by the departures of Paul Pogba, Carlos Tevez and Fernando Llorente in recent seasons.

According to the Metro, Ruben Neves insists that he wants to stay put with the Wolves after reports of a possible move to Liverpool had surfaced over the past week.

Neves has been one of the key figures in Wolves’ promotion-winning campaign in the Championship. He was signed by the Wolves from FC Porto on a deal worth £15.8 million last summer.

According to the report, Ruben Neves told Sky Sports,

Manchester United were also linked with a potential move for Neves but now that the player has poured cold water on the rumours himself, it is time for the Premier League giants to look elsewhere.
